David L. Shoultz and Lynne M Shoultz Alpha Gamma Rho Scholarship

This award has been established by Lynne Shoultz in memory of her late husband, Dave Shoultz.    Dave graduated from Iowa State in 1964 and always credited his education from Iowa State and the brotherhood of Alpha Gamma Rho as the foundation for a very successful career with Pioneer Hi-Bred International.   Dave's leadership was instrumental in developing Pioneer's seed production network throughout Asia, Latin America and Africa.   His travels enriched the lives of both he and Lynne.   Their home was always welcoming to friends and visitors from abroad and many of those visits led to lifelong friendships.   

The intent of this scholarship is to help provide members of Alpha Gamma Rho the opportunity to study and travel abroad with the hope that the opportunity may spark an interest in navigating diverse agriculture and business cultures to forge strong international friendships.   Click the link below to hear Lynne discuss the importance of Alpha Gamma Rho to her husband, Dave, and why she has chosen to contribute to the Legacy Fund.
